ECO–GROW - RICE
Many experiments of Eco-Grow on rice plants have been conducted in many parts of the world. Here are two typical experiments conducted in Bangladesh and Vietnam.
- Eco-Grow Application Testing in Bangladesh
A field experiment was conducted at Bangladesh Rice Research Institute (BRRI) farm, Gazipur, to evaluate Eco-Grow fertiliser as per direction of Fertiliser Standardization Committee. The treatments of the experiment were as follows:
- Dosage and variety
The N, P and K doses were 90, 25 and 35 kg/ha respectively. The experiment was laid out in RCB with 3 replications. The test variety was BR11
- Treatment:
- T1 = Control.
- T2 = P 25 + K 35 only.
- T3 = EG 1 + 25% N90
- T4 = EG 1 + 25% N90 + P25 + K35.
Note: EG stands for Eco-Grow microorganic fertilizer
- Results
From the results it was observed that application of Eco-Grow along with 25% N (22kg N/ha) which was recommended by the producer, increased an average of 984 and 878 kg/ha grain yield over the control. Twenty two-kg applied N could produce about 0.5 t/ha grain yield. The rest of the grain yields production assumed to be a contribution of Eco-Grow

- Eco-Grow Application Testing in Vietnam
Experiment was carried out by Fruit & Vegetables Research Institute in 2011. Eco-Grow was applied on the rice plant in two stages: the sowing stage and a second stage which started 5 days after re-planting. Apply plant with ECO-GROW had made the leaves take up a deeper green in color, thicker and stronger.

Effect of ECO-GROW during the sowing stage
When applying ECO-GROW to the rice plant during the period of plant growth color and thickness of leaves showed clear changes from light green to dark green, flowering period was more concentrate and the rice ripened earlier, color of the grain shell was also brighter. In particular, with the treatment resistance to diseases was better as compared to under normal control, i.e. without treatment.

Effect of ECO-GROW during the period of growth and development of rice plant
- Conclusion
Eco-Grow micro-organic fertilizer improves the health of rice plants and increases yield. In addition, to apply Eco-Grow also improves the soil and increases the pest resistance of rice plants so the use of pesticides is reduced to protect farmers and consumers health as well as environment.
